Hoping this is seen and someone can help. What do you do if the doors are locked? I cant get my tesla to unlock at all, not with the key card or the app. My car is at 70% so i knownits not the main battery. If anyone can help please
Very helpful video. So clearly explained. One question, how do you add back energy?
I had to view it again as i had forgotten what i did last time.
the fact it works with a dead battery is still a security issue. what if your car was parked a long time on the street and a thief knows this they can access the frunk. should only work if you have the key fob on you even if the 12v battery is dead.
the power boost bank won't work if it's locked inside the frunk or trunk when the battery dies. So you should keep one in your house instead but that won't help you if the battery dies while you're on the road. You can call AAA or someone else to jump it but that can cost precious time if you have a dog or baby inside a hot car. would be nice if they had a mechanical key to unlock the car in an emergency like many other cars have.
Fixed mine , thank you 🎉
PPF film is way way way overpriced. And the labor is also extremely overpriced.
Love the quick review
Hello, we are a brand that specializes in Tesla accessories. We appreciate your channel and are trying to find people like you to cooperate with. How can we contact you? Maybe we can establish a long-term and stable cooperative relationship!
The gas pedal performance pad just slides on from the bottom up. The back of the performance pedal pad has a channel it slides right over your existing pedal. Start at the bottom, align the channel and push in and up with a little pressure. It will slide right on.
how do I take these off?
what are those bronze wheels? they look great.
Nice video! More of a tech question but on the frunk opener I have the same one. BUT for some reason mine only sometimes opens with the motor IF I help it up right when the hood pops up with a gentile hand - as if the latch itself "catches" the frunk and the motor somehow glitches out. Given a slight gentile "assist" the motor works fine, otherwise the hood pops open and thats it - have to open by hand. Adjusting the "speed" of the thing doesn't do anything... it closes automatically just fine, though. It does this about 80% or so of the time, sadly. So it's a "sometimes auto" frunk. I have never been able to figure this out and not much advice from the company, unfortunately.
Question I have for anyone as I have not been able to figure it out: About 80% of the time - when I open the frunk the hood will "pop up" but then it kind of does a "stall out" like it is getting "caught" and the motors will not lift it at all. I have to then lift it by hand. IF I am right at the frunk and give a very gentile "lift" with my hand right as it pops open, the motors will open it up just fine after a ver slight 1/2 second pause. Changing the speeds via the controller does nothing to change this. Once open it closes fine automatically and the hood gap is normal. Any thoughts? I am at the wits end on it.
Tesla could release an update and make that battery not work , so be careful
Thanks a lot for showing how to jack the car using the MS provided jack. Too many of these vids neglect this important information.
The general concept is good. But I can’t understand why the bezel needs to be so large on all 4 sides. It really shrinks the sunroof. Between the size of the bezel and the price, looks like a nope from me.
is this the KRCR weather guy??
S3XY Knob and switchback wireless charging phone mount on centre of steering wheel my two favourites. I am also fine with one finger door opening. Just press the small part with one extended finger and wait for the pop open then hook finger in the same gap and fully pull open. Would still love to have the self presenting door handle for all the unfamiliar users.
OMG.....I want.
Does it not matter if the positive and negative wires are touching each other while sitting inside the car normally?
You can also just spend $10 at Home Depot and spray paint your wheel covers
Great video. The tilt screen from Matt is awesome. I remember when he first launched it. The other great accessory is the front drunk & trunk opening automatically & off course you need. front PPF on any Tesla if you don’t want huge rocks chips. Btw that the new re-engineered model 3 is a complete different drive then the prior M3. Definitely worth the money, especially the M3P with the tax credit, it’s a no brainer !! ⚡️😎
Install installation link not working for display sival mount not working. I want to see how to install before I buy it.
First video I watched and subbed right away. I saw an older video of FSD taking on a hard intersection. You should try it with FSD v12. I recently got my MYP and got a couple months free with it. But have only used v12 and it works really great majority of the time.
Mr fugal please do and upgrade guide on the model 3 highland no one is buying a highland and doing upgrade guidance on the highland
Hows the battery life so far?
I've followed you for years and you haven't steered me wrong. Im going for the power frunk and the monitor mount after the Summer, IF I don't pull the trigger on an S. ... I love the auto present and lights, but really - you never learned the one hand method - thumb on the big tab and the handle pops into your palm? To quote Mr. Taggart in Blazing Saddles, "I am depressed".
That automatic frunk is epic. Too bad Tesla doesn’t just make it a standard
It is standard now.
About as far from frugal as you can get….no thanks 🙄
so just so I understand this correctly, for a Model 3 with an LFP battery I should charge every single day to 100%?
Range also depends on wind direction, number of times driver presses the breaks, the slope of the road.
Hi everyone, I have a 23 ionq5 limited Have owned the car about 10 months. I’m on my first long road trip. Things have been going fairly smoothly. You can’t be on a time dead line, which I’m not. The onboard gps does a good job on finding chargers, very accurate directions on getting to a charger. The big draw back is finding chargers that work. I would say without a doubt Tesla charging system is lite years ahead of all other EV,s. I don’t believe teslas are a better car, only their charging systems
It's been two years, time for that 4 year update and tell us if you still have the same tires or replaced them.
should put a little grease on the ball join connections on the lowering links
5:56 “for convenience and size it starts out small, pull it out and it gets larger. Very nice “
Great video. I got a certified used 2023 M3 with 19" alloys and would love to try some of the futuristic covers. Sadly there's almost none for the 19s. These are the exception and look nice, but I'd refer some white flat futuristic ones
How long did the car take to turn back on? Does anyone have an idea? It’s been about 45 minutes…
this is good, but it's missing a few key things that are confusing. 1) you didn't mention WHEN in the process you click the "factory reset" on the car's dash... do you do this BEFORE removing it from seller's account, or after? 2) Will the backup keycards i'm giving to the new owner still work to unlock and drive, or did those go away with either Factory Reset process or "Remove Product" process? If they won't work anymore, how does new owner drive away with the car if they don't yet have it in their account?
This doesn’t apply to LFP.
Thank you
Is calibrating the same thing as equalizing? If no t can you equalize the battery…? I work with electric forklifts and the mechanics recommend equalizing the battery once a week.
I don't know if anyone has ever mentored this to you but your voice and tone reminds me a lot of former radio DJ Kasey Kasem - pretty awesome! Great video as well. Very honest and detailed.
Haha wow it does!
Do you have any photos of the damaged weather stripping?
It's nice to have the option. Doubtful that I will use it but probably good for a teenager learning to drive.
Hi FTG, I really enjoyed your video and other videos that you’ve made. I used it to lubricate the ball joints with Lucas Red & Tacky grease. This did help with the creaking problem in the suspension, but it was only a temporary fix. After a month of driving, the creaking noise returned when using the new Autopark feature and then I heard noises when hitting bumps. I got it serviced today at the SC they replaced the front upper control arms (this includes the ball joints) for $274 Canadian. The labour was free because the original upper control arms were defective and the new ones from Tesla addressed prior issues with the old ones. I recommend you getting your upper control arms replaced as the replacement cost isn’t that steep and you get a longer term fix.
New to your channel but also thinking of pulling a teardrop style (aliner scout or Vistabule ).
this is so much work
You need to properly clean your steering wheel. Shiny means it is dirty.
Great video! I’m getting ready to go to Yosemite and camp in my model Y :)
